  • Sophie Young

Sophie graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2013 and went on to complete her Masters in Podiatry Practice in 2016. During that time, she worked across both the public and private health sectors before joining Highett Podiatry in 2017.

Sophie has also undertaken training in taping, dry needling, as well as time spent at the Australian Ballet in workshops focused on the lower limb and pre-pointe.

Extending her personal interest of years of classical and theatrical dancing, Sophie holds her classical teaching diploma with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers Dancing. By combining her passion with study, her knowledge in the demands of the body and lower limbs in dancers is highly valuable to our clinic.

Outside of her podiatry work, you won’t see Sophie sitting down much! In her spare time she will be outdoors, camping, skiing, cycling or traveling the world.

  • Jeremy Lynn

Jeremy has a keen interest in all things Podiatry, particularly the dermatological and biomechanical aspect of it.

Jeremy is fluent in Russian and enjoys spending time with his parents and grandparents. Being an allied health practitioner fluent in a second language, Jeremy is very appreciated in the community where Russian is their first language.

Jeremy has vast experience and extensive knowledge in fitting running shoes. At Highett Podiatry he is our ‘go to’ when it comes to advice regarding the best shoes for our patients.

Whilst working in Japan fitting ski boots, Jeremy trained in making custom foot beds needed for such intense activities such as skiing and snowboarding and aiding in the management of associated foot and ankle injuries.

In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys playing tennis and footy, being a sports trainer for local footy clubs and going on day trips with family & friends. You can see Jeremy in the clinic on Tuesday’s and Friday’s.
